Accuracy is an ongoing responsibility
Report a correction
Found a wrong phone number, outdated credential, unclear explanation or broken source? Send the exact page and the evidence that helps resolve it.
Open a correction emailOr write directly to email@chimneysweeppages.com. The button opens your email application; it does not submit a form or guarantee delivery. This is not an emergency contact channel.
Include these five things
- The complete page URL.
- The exact statement or directory field at issue.
- The proposed correction, with unknown details clearly marked.
- A public authoritative source, or relevant evidence with sensitive information removed.
- Your relationship to the company if requesting a business-record change.
Business records
Provide the public business name and relevant current contact or service information. Do not send identity documents, account passwords, complete insurance policies or customer information. Where ownership or authorization matters, the publisher may need additional verification through a suitable channel before changing a record. A correction does not create a recommendation or quality badge.
Editorial and safety concerns
Quote the passage and explain why it may be inaccurate or misleading. Include the authority, publication title, relevant section and version when available. A difference in a local requirement should identify the jurisdiction and project scope. For an active fire, suspected gas leak or carbon-monoxide emergency, leave and contact emergency services—not this mailbox.
How a correction should be assessed
The correction process compares the claim with its supporting source, distinguishes a data change from an editorial error and updates the affected wording or record when justified. If evidence is insufficient or conflicting, uncertainty should remain visible. Significant safety corrections should explain the changed guidance rather than silently turning an old claim into a fresh-looking article. We do not promise a response deadline.
